Today’s groundbreaking of the Mohawk Street Townhomes
in Over-the-Rhine with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati was a fitting way to close out hashtag#MiddleHousingMay. Habitat’s mission has always been about creating affordable homeownership opportunities that empower families to build equity, strengthen neighborhoods, and create generational impact.
As Construction Manager, Kaiker Development + Construction is proud to be part of the solution by helping deliver eight new townhomes that will provide attainable homeownership opportunities in an area where housing demand continues to grow. These homes will not only benefit their future owners but will also contribute to the continued revitalization and long-term stability of the surrounding community.
One of the most rewarding parts of the day was already having the opportunity to meet some of the future homeowners who will be calling this community home next year. Seeing the excitement, pride, and possibilities that come with homeownership is a powerful reminder of why we do this work.
